Hi Lisa,
Just right click on this link and then select “save link as” to move the flash file on to your own computer. The file is just over 60 megabytes, so it will take a few minutes to download depending on your connection speed. This is the version that you will load onto your server and embed there if you want to stream it out to clients or other viewers. Please note that depending on your system configuration if you left click on the link that you may launch a browser page that will download the entire file into a cache buffer and then play it. It’s a much slower way to do it and you risk going through the download time with the possibility that you won’t be able to save it afterwards, again depending on your configuration. I strongly recommend saving it first and then playing the file you just saved.
When you open it, you will notice that it is a fully functional player that allows you to advance or rewind the slides using the normal fast forward (>>) and rewind (<<) looking buttons on each side of the play (>) button. The audio is synced to the slides so the sound picks right up wherever you advance to using the buttons or even the progress slider. On the lower right, you’ll notice three buttons that adjust volume, pop up slide thumbnails along the bottom of the screen that you can navigate or make the player full screen. It’s all pretty intuitive.
If you don’t have flash player, you can download that for free from Adobe here. If you run into any technical issues or hang-ups, I’d be happy to try to help you work through them. Again, we appreciate your presentation and hope that it’s been a good experience for you too.
So you know, this page is not linked to our home page or otherwise public unless someone guessed what the URL was, so you don’t need to worry about anyone stumbling across it. Once you let me know that you have downloaded a copy of the file, I’ll pull it off our site.
Again, thanks for all you’ve done. Have a great day!
Regards,
Tad
