Align Your Leadership, Strategy and Culture:
Critical Skills in an Economic Environment of Dramatic Change
High performance organizations have leaders who tightly connect purpose and aspiration with focus and activity. As a result, those organizations are superior at adapting and innovating while engaging employees and meeting customer needs. Other organizations may be aggressive and skilled at following the market leaders – but in an economic environment of dramatic and traumatic change, an organization’s lack of alignment between leadership rhetoric and organizational reality makes it extremely vulnerable.

To assess where your organization stands and what it needs to do better, this webinar will help you unlock your organizational DNA
Organizational DNA is encoded in the way employees think and behave. It is created and shaped by how leaders actually behave combined with the activities and outcomes they measure and reward. In his extensive and path-breaking research, Dr. Albert Vicere has assessed the DNA of hundreds of companies and developed a database of 11,000 leader responses. In this webinar, he will describe the patterns that have been revealed, the urgent crisis that has arisen as leaders find themselves increasingly detached from their organization’s future, and the steps some organizations are taking to better connect business strategy and operations with goals and mission.
In addition to the methods, scope, and results of his research, Dr. Vicere will lead us in a lively conversation about:
- The gaps that are most prevalent in organizations, and how that impacts the ability to engage employees, achieve goals and navigate change
- How an organization can build and maintain a focused culture in a time of balance sheet consolidation, reorganization, and layoffs
- How to resist the inevitability of decay in an organization’s life cycle, and refresh its ability to innovate as a market leader
- How to engage the baby boomers who are now postponing retirement while providing opportunities for early-career leaders
- How teams, divisions, and corporations can better define and model the values the organization espouses
If your organization is going to be a leader in today’s economic environment, it needs to recognize the magnitude of the changes we’re experiencing, and tighten the gap between rhetoric and reality.
