The Urgency of Long-Range Planning
Dr. Fariborz Ghadar is a world authority on future business trends, global economic assessment, and strategy. As an executive coach who focuses on strategy implementation, he’s also expert at bringing an understanding of changing demographics, new technology, and emerging economic and political trends into practical business planning and operations. Anyone tasked with leading an organization, division or a team, or with developing and planning for the leadership and human capital needs of the future, will be invigorated by the trends, ideas and approaches discussed in this 90-minute interactive webinar.
Global Tectonics is the process by which the developing trends in technology, nature, and society revolutionize the business environment of the future. Much like the Earth’s tectonic plates, global trends shift unnoticed until they transform industries and societies. It’s easy for business executives, managers, and human resource planners to overlook such developments until a major quake rocks the foundation of their organizations.
Dr. Ghadar and his team have identified 12 global trends that present the most formidable challenges to world business leaders in the next thirty years. These tectonic shifts will continue to produce minor tremors and major earthquakes for companies and industries. But with foresight and awareness, leaders can develop a much improved ability to understand and plan for these striking trends as they unfold.
Every business, regardless of its size or industry, must view day-to-day operations in light of these global developments. Decisions about resources, organizational structure, the composition of teams, new and existing markets, product lifecycles, and people are affected by the evolving business environment. For our organizations to succeed, we need to develop an understanding of global tectonics in the context of the roles we each play.
In this enlightening and idea-packed webinar, you will learn:
- The 12 global trends that will challenge business leaders for the next 30 years.
- How the 12 trends can converge into sets to create fantastic new markets or diminish established ones.
- How the 12 trends have already changed many industries, markets and organizations.
- How product lifecycles have changed and why that has threatened many organizations and made leadership and strategy implementation more complicated and demanding.
- What needs to happen in terms of people, team, message and leadership to make business strategy implementation successful.
- What diversity brings to an organization’s ability to evolve and respond to developing trends.
- How leaders and managers can be coached on the need to do business differently.
